I have a product that's about five years old, and I can call and ask the most absurd questions and they help me. I have nothing bad to say about Denon customer service.

Ive had my unit 2 months. Now I have a blinking red light and Im unable to turn unit on.

Ive reset with no luck. When it was working it sounded great.

Bad Customer care

i wrote an email and the reply i got from Denon after contacting Pissed customer was to contact my nearest service center and Denon provided me with the details. but when i called the service center the gentleman aurrogantly told me he does not support or help clients that have not baught from them, he also said he is not interested even if am paying for the service he is to give me .

so very disapointing indeed

AVR-X2700H Firmware error

Hi.

I have an AVR-X2700H with a firmware error. It is bricked at firmware update and displays a 2A02 and 2B02 error.

I found that if I remove the network card, the AVR works.

I can get image and sound but a few functions are grayed out.

I bought 2 networks card and both of them needed a firmware update, specified on your service manual. When I did the update the firmware loop started again, so I have to remove the network card. I have these issue for almost 3 years since I bought the AVR.

I am from Ecuador, and there is no technicians here.

Now, I have 3 network cards but none of them works and bricks the AVR. Please tell me how to solve the issue.

Denon App Dirac

Shipping and Customer Support is horrendous / incompetent.

Late March, I ordered a Denon receiver. The shipping department provided FedEx with the wrong address, even though the correct address was on the invoice and the shipping notice.

Customer service neglected to inform FedEx of the correct address. The receiver was returned to Denon.

Early May - Rinse and repeat on a second attempt at ordering a Denon receiver. FedEx was given the same incorrect address as the first attempt to purchase this receiver.

Again, FedEx will only accept a change-of-address from the shipper. Multiple calls spanning several days and the shipping department fails to call FedEx.

My receiver is being returned back to Denon by FedEx.

The sheer incompetence and lack of customer support is mind-boggling.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered

User's recommendation: NEVER buy Denon online.

SSD installment

Incompetent Shipping

Denon somehow put the wrong address on the package (same city/state, random street location) and I cannot change it - I contacted customer support to resolve, they told me they fixed it - turns out they gave yet another wrong / fake address to fedex...so at this point I am waiting for it to be returned-to-sender and I can get my refund and move on... If anybody in a senior position at Denon is reading this... please fix your inept shipping and customer support.

They were very slow to resolve but finally did the right thing

I bought the 770h receiver back in February- was a present and did not open it until March. It didnt work.

Tech support ran diagnostics and determined my only recourse was a warranty repair. Sent to NJ for repair. Got it back and it still didnt work. Spoke to tech support again and wanted to speak to a supervisor.

Was promised a call back in 12-24 hours. 3 days and still no call. Spoke to them again and was told the same thing. A brand new machine never used should not have such problems or i should get a new machine.

Ill wait until tomorrow morning and if no call I will escalate it to my attorney and the attorney general office. And they will pay either in lost revenue via my social media posts or my legal fees. For them to be so petty about a bad machine is horrendous.

A lemon machine is understandable. Not helping the consumer is not.
